I was honored to be a featured artist for the ground-breaking street art project, Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans – Mexico Edition, presented by PangeaSeed in collaboration with 1xRUN, Residencia Gorila, World Art Destinations, and Juxtapoz Latin America. The opportunity to travel to Isla Mujeres, Mexico to bang out an activist-oriented mural and swim alongside whale sharks – all to raise awareness for ocean conservation for species threatened with extinction off the Yucatan Peninsula, was mind blowing and unforgettable. It was a pleasure to paint alongside the killer artist lineup of Curiot, Saner, Nosego, Shark Toof, Tristan Eaton, Celeste Byers, Cinzah Merkens, Tatiana Suarez, Hannah Stouffer, Smithe, Aaron Glasson, Yoh Nagao, Vexta, and Pelucas. To contribute to a cause I am passionate about is extremely rewarding and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to support the long-term sustainability of Mexico’s natural resources. Thanks to everyone involved for their warm hospitality and inspiring talent.
