‘The Swallow a.k.a. Save Our Souls’ is located on 1 Rowland St. in North Beach. The mural references both tattoo culture and illustration that has influenced me throughout my career. Traditionally, sailor tattoos using the swallow image represent safe passage and time spent at sea. This wall is my homage to the maritime tattoo culture of the Bay Area and represents fond memories of San Francisco, a place I consider a home away from home. Thanks to Rocha Gallery ( for making this wall possible!

It was rad being a part of this mural project with my good friends at Athen B. Gallery and the lovely team at Mr. Espresso, who let me paint on the side of their factory in the Jack London district of Oakland, CA. ‘Roots Run Deep’ is my homage to the Jack London District and references the past, present, and future faces of Oakland. It celebrates that a city, with a balance of hardship and civic pride, is now opening up to a whole new world of opportunity and creative culture in the area.

My mural is located at 696 3rd St. on the corner of 3rd Street and Martin Luther King Jr. St. in Oakland. Shout out to my homies Brock and Sorell (@athenbgallery), who made it all possible and arranged for me to paint the wall as part of ‘House Warming,’ the grand opening of their gallery located at 1525 Webster St. in Oakland. Also a big thank you to Savlan Hauser of the Jack London Improvement District.
