‘The Swallow a.k.a. Save Our Souls’ is located on 1 Rowland St. in North Beach. The mural references both tattoo culture and illustration that has influenced me throughout my career. Traditionally, sailor tattoos using the swallow image represent safe passage and time spent at sea. This wall is my homage to the maritime tattoo culture of the Bay Area and represents fond memories of San Francisco, a place I consider a home away from home. Thanks to Rocha Gallery (@rocha.art) for making this wall possible!
